On October 14, members of the Laboratory of Religious Freedom team met with Prof. Tadeusz Jasudowicz, full professor at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, to focus on the legal aspects of the protection of religious freedom. The aftermath of our cooperation with the recognized specialist in human rights and international law, are numerous studies that will soon appear on our website. Prof. Jasudowicz took part in the recording of an episode of the "Academy of Freedom" – where he discusses the importance of religious freedom as a fundamental human right and social good.In turn, in the podcast recorded for us, he will present modern provisions of Polish and international law intended to protect the freedom of conscience and religion. He is also the author of one of the expert materials – his study, entitled "Prewencja stosowania przemocy i gróźb bezprawnych na tle przynależności wyznaniowej oraz ochrona wolności religijnej sensu largo" (Prevention of the use of violence and unlawful threats on the basis of religious affiliation and the protection of religious freedom in the broad sense) will provide an insight into the legal basis ensuring freedom of conscience and religion. In anticipation on the publication of materials prepared in cooperation with the professor, we encourage you to follow our social media profiles and keep track of our activities.
