An online active map of violations of religious freedom presents reported cases of crime and denominational discrimination. It is constantly updated to accurately depict the current situation in Poland and in the world. Our map is helpful in diagnosing and recognizing the full scale of the phenomenon of violation of freedom of conscience and religion. and will permit us to monitor this phenomenon. Thanks to this, we will be able to take appropriate preventive measures and implement effective response mechanisms.
Reliable data collected on the map, verified by a team of experts, are used to disseminate knowledge in the field of discrimination against Christians in Poland and to shape and promote social, civic and patriotic attitudes. This is an important step towards making the public aware that violence and discrimination based on religion are a real and current problem that is close to us.

The Laboratory of Religious Freedom was established on the initiative of the Pro Futuro Theologiae Foundation functioning at the Faculty of Theology of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Our goal is to prevent crime against freedom of conscience and religion as well as any discrimination against religious affiliation. To achieve our goal we take preventive actions and prophylactic measures dedicated to appropriate groups. Furthermore we strave to shape attitudes of social unacceptability to persecution for religious beliefs.
